Frances Browne established Boyne Bookkeeping Services in 2020 with a focus on helping growers, producers and small businesses in the horticultural industry to confidently manage the financial aspects of their business. She offers a range of bookkeeping services including timely and up-to-date accounts, regular financial reporting, VAT and payroll.

With more than 25 years’ experience in the horticulture industry, Frances has worked in the vegetable seed as well as the ornamental seed and young plant business. Her all-encompassing roles in these companies helped hone her administration and bookkeeping skills and deepen her knowledge of the industry. She has also spent time working in the banking sector.

Frances understands her clients’ challenges, particularly where long hours are the norm and bookkeeping can be a burden, particularly for those with few bookkeeping skills. She is passionate about empowering growers and small business owners to take control of their financial processes with the industry-relevant knowledge and support she can provide.

Frances holds a Certificate in Bookkeeping from the Professional Bookkeepers Academy and is accredited by the Institute of Certified Bookkeepers.  She has a strong working knowledge of a variety of software packages including Sort My Books, QuickBooks and MS Excel.
