Mihaela Iftime proudly launched Bookkeeping Ireland in 2020 to help relieve the bookkeeping and payroll burden on busy business owners. She is passionate about numbers and loves to help small business owners and sole traders find solutions for the various challenges they face in business. She is an Executive Partner with the Professional Bookkeepers Academy in Ireland and a SortMyBooks Certified Expert.

Mihaela started Bookkeeping Ireland to achieve a greater work/life balance and is committed to supporting her customers to enjoy the benefits of running their own business too. By streamlining account keeping, cleaning up paper records and achieving clarity around business finances, she gives her customers greater confidence in their business and bookkeeping systems. Mihaela is a proud supporter of women in business and is a member of the Donegal Women in Business Network where she also sits on the Committee and holds the position of Assistant Treasurer.

Prior to establishing Bookkeeping Ireland Mihaela spent more than fourteen years working in hospitality, sales and health and beauty in Ireland and abroad. She has run several of her own businesses in wellness and cosmetics, and has gained extensive experience in account keeping, sales, marketing and customer service. As a result, she has a unique insight into the competing demands of a small business.

Mihaela’s industry experience is backed by extensive qualifications and training. She holds a BSC (Hons) Accounting and IT Management from the Spiru Haret University in Romania, holds a Certificate in Bookkeeping from the Professional Bookkeepers Academy and is accredited by the Institute of Certified Bookkeepers. She also holds a certificate in Sage Basic and Advanced Computerised Accounts from the Local Enterprise Office in Kilkenny.
